KRISHNA CHARITABLE PROGRESSIVE TRUST is situated at Jajpur Road (Vyasanagar), under Kalinganagar Development Authority (KNDA) in the district of Jajpur, the country’s largest steel hub where people with diversity in language, religion, culture, creed and nationality reside and work in harmony and feelings of fraternity. This place bears the holy citadel of Lord Vyasa Dev’s wisdom and puranic ambience. KRISHNA CHARITABLE PROGRESSIVE TRUST decided to create and establish a Trust to run institutions and centers for social, cultural, academic, literary and spiritual development and growth of the people at large without discrimination of caste, creed, colour and sex, etc. with certain objectives as envisaged in the constitution of the Trust.
The major objectives of KRISHNA CHARITABLE PROGRESSIVE TRUST is establishment of an ideal society to ensure qualitative education, decent life and a clean environment for everyone. It basically focuses on making man aware of the values he should be made of, freeing him from ignorance and prejudices. The Trust has the plan to run schools, colleges, universities (general, technical, medical, agriculture and veterinary, spiritual, etc.) with hostel accommodations for the students, to promote advance studies and research activities, to build temples for spiritual growth of people, to run social activities for providing assistance to the poor and needy people, to aid and support government programmes, to enlist participation of different groups hailing from different categories of population, to run coaching and training institutions for orientation and training of the poor and meritorious students in order to enable them for government and non-government competitive examinations, to organize workshops, symposiums and seminars on various topics to enlighten the people, to sign MoUs with various reputed/noted companies/trusts/agencies/corporate houses , to conduct various cultural activities such as drama, dance, music, art, paintings, etc., to promote the spirit of women empowerment and gender equality, to publish magazines, journals, books, newspapers, to fight for human rights and to protect the vulnerable groups of the society from abuse and work for the eradication of poverty. Above all, the Trust decides and plans to work for the holistic development and overall growth of humanity at large.
